As Kapiti Coast arborists, we believe good business means giving back to the community around us – and that’s exactly why our association with Horse Sense, based in Otaki, feels like such a natural fit.
Horse Sense exists to strengthen and develop lives. Their facilitators partner with horses to create a genuinely unique kind of learning experience – not riding lessons, but real challenges that build confidence, resilience and healthy life skills, and encourage lasting, positive change. It’s a simple idea, delivered brilliantly, and it comes from exactly the same place we do: a belief that investing in people and community is worth the effort.
That’s why we’re proud to confirm we’re working alongside Horse Sense to fell trees and manage the environment on site – improving safety and making the space better suited to the work they do with their horses and clients. That support extends directly to Eve “Evie” Leniston Howell at Horse Sense, and we’ll be right behind her every step of the way.
You can see it for yourself in the video below:
If you’re looking for a local charity worth getting behind, Horse Sense is it. We’d encourage anyone on the Kapiti Coast to take a look at the work they do.
Just like the trees we care for, we’re stronger when our roots are firmly planted in local soil – and organisations like Horse Sense, who share that same commitment to community, are exactly the kind of Kapiti Coast roots worth investing in.
